Evacuation Preparedness: Supplies Out of Town

We discussed in one of the earlier tasks the possibility of having a 3 day supply of food and necessities at the home of your out of town evacuation place.  If that was okay with your out of contact person then you need to begin to work on building that supply.  This will give you an even greater sense of peace knowing that you will have a grab and go bag with 3 day supply and another 3 day supply at your evacuation place.

This week's task

Put together a plastic tub with a 3 day supply of food, water and basic necessities and take it to your out of town evacuation place.

If having it at your out of town contact place is not possible and you have a vehicle than store the plastic tub in an easily accessible place that you can just grab it and put in your vehicle in case of evacuation.

Home Inventory Task cont'd

Set aside 5-15 minutes each day during the course of this week to take an inventory of the items in your master bedroom.
